Bismarck, N.D. – Bis-Man Transit’s fixed route and paratransit services will be shut down until at least noon on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 due to blizzard conditions.

Administration will continue to monitor the weather Wednesday morning to determine if service can safely resume in the afternoon.

The weather system affecting the region began with rain on Sunday, November 27, that turned to snow. As of Tuesday (November 29) afternoon, more than a foot of snow had fallen in the area.

Interstate 94 was closed Tuesday afternoon between Dickinson and Mandan. The eastbound and westbound Jefferson Lines buses have also been cancelled for the morning of November 30.

Bis-Man Transit will continue to alert the public of any service alterations through its website, and its social media channels (Facebook and Twitter).
