Riders Will Receive a Treat From the CAT Bus This Halloween

October 22, 2013 - Bismarck, N.D. – Capital Area Transit (CAT) bus riders will receive a treat this Halloween holiday in the form of free rides for two days.  On Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th everyone can “Catch the CAT” for free all day, both days.

This will be the sixth annual Halloween Free Ride Days the CAT has offered to show appreciation to the Bismarck and Mandan communities for their support of public transportation.  New riders are also encouraged to take advantage of the free rides to familiarize themselves with the area’s public transportation.

CAT bus routes run from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, depending on the route.  Riders may “Catch the CAT” on any safe corner along a route by waving their hand when they see the bus approaching.  More information on the Halloween Free Ride Days, how to ride the CAT (including “How to Ride” videos), where to pick up a map, a downloadable version of the map and a trip planning feature may be found on our website at www.thecatbus.com.  Riders may also call our office at 701-323-9228, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
