Important Notice Regarding Medicaid-Funded Medical Transportation Services

Bis-Man Transit is committed to providing safe, reliable, and accessible transportation services to our community.

Effective November 15, 2026, Bis-Man Transit will no longer accept Medicaid as a payment source for medical transportation trips.

As a result, any medical trips currently billed through Medicaid will no longer be eligible for transportation through Bis-Man Transit under Medicaid funding after November 15, 2026. Riders who need transportation to medical appointments after this date should contact their Medicaid care coordinator or Medicaid representative to discuss available transportation options and make alternative arrangements.

Please note that Bis-Man Transit paratransit services will continue to be available for eligible riders. Medical trips may still be scheduled; however, riders will be responsible for paying the applicable fare unless another approved funding source has been arranged.
