How To Ride
Hours of Operation
- The CAT provides service to Bismarck and Mandan through 6 routes, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., and Saturday 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
- CAT bus services are not available on Sundays.
- The CAT does not provide services on six holidays each year: New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Demand response curb-to-curb service is available to the general public on Sundays and the six holidays that the CAT bus does not run. Demand response service is available 7:30a.m. - 6:00p.m. Sundays, and during holiday hours on holidays, within the cities of Bismarck and Mandan.
Demand response riders must follow the same guidelines for scheduling rides as paratransit riders.
Rides must be scheduled at least one day in advance (up to 14 days in advance) by calling the Bis-Man Transit scheduling office at (701) 223-9001 Monday through Sunday between 8:00a.m. and 5:00p.m.
2026 Holiday Demand Response Service Hours:
Same hours as paratransit holiday service hours.
