May 23, 2024 - Bismarck, N.D. – – On June 11th, 2024, Mandan residents will have the opportunity to vote on a half-cent sales tax to fund various community needs. Bis-Man Transit is asking Mandan residents to vote “YES” to Measure One.
If Measure One is approved, 3/10ths of a cent will be allocated to public safety, specifically for the construction of police and fire stations, the acquisition of emergency vehicles, and the improvement of city hall accessibility. This funding will ensure first responders have the necessary resources to keep our community safe.
The remaining 2/10ths of a cent will be designated for addressing public transportation needs, focusing on providing reliable services for disabled, elderly, and socio-economically challenged residents. This initiative aims to ensure that all residents have access to transportation options that cater to their specific requirements.

Bis-Man Transit will be offering free rides for both CAT Bus riders and Paratransit riders on election day, Tuesday, June 11th, 2024. Free ride day provides a great opportunity for the community to learn more about Bis-Man Transit. Free rides will be offered for all hours of operation on June 11th, 2024, and to all locations.
The goal of Bis-Man Transit is to deliver valued public transportation, linking people, jobs and communities.
