March 7, 2022 - Bismarck, N.D. – Bis-Man Transit has been awarded an ARP Additional Assistance Grant through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
The FTA announced today that it will award $2.2 billion to help public transportation agencies pay for day-to-day operations as they continue to provide essential service for frontline workers, and keep tens of thousands of employees on the payroll. The amount Bis-Man Transit will receive is $1,057,582, which will be used for 2022 – 2023 operating expenses. Bis-Man Transit is one of 35 recipients in 18 states announced today as a recipient of the competitive grant.
The goal of Bis-Man Transit is to deliver valued public transportation, linking people, jobs and communities.
