The safety protocols that will be lifted include limiting passenger capacity on fixed route and paratransit buses, limiting building access, and performing temperature screening for staff and guests. In addition, paratransit and demand response riders will no longer be restricted to scheduling one day in advance, and can schedule rides up to 14 days in advance.
In addition to mandatory face coverings, the following safety protocols will continue to remain in place:
- Masks are provided to riders, if necessary.
- Hand sanitizer is available onboard each bus for all riders.
- All vehicles are deep cleaned and disinfected nightly.
As a reminder, Bis-Man Transit urges riders to practice safe hygiene to help prevent the spread of germs, including wearing a mask properly, washing hands frequently and thoroughly, and refraining from riding when feeling sick.
