March 16, 2026 - Bismarck, N.D. – –On Monday, March 16th, 2026, Bis-Man Transit begins a week of recognizing and celebrating transit employees. March 16th – 21st is Transit Employee Appreciation Week, which includes National Transit Employee Appreciation Day on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026.
The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) recognizes March 18th, 2026 as National Transit Employee Appreciation Day to salute the nation’s dedicated individuals who power public transit systems and keep us moving.
Bis-Man Transit Executive Director Deidre Hughes said, “We proudly honor the exceptional service of our entire Transit staff, whose tireless efforts ensure safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for all. Their collective dedication is the driving force behind the transportation system in our communities. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for their contributions.”
Bis-Man Transit is encouraging riders to show their appreciation throughout the entire week by sharing a smile, kind gesture, or word of thanks with their driver.
The goal of Bis-Man Transit is to deliver valued public transportation, linking people, jobs and communities.
