Bismarck, N.D. – Capital Area Transit (CAT) will be conducting a ridership survey later this week.
Volunteers from the University of Mary will be on some buses, as well as at transfer points on Wednesday, October 21.
“We are really looking forward to giving our ridership the opportunity to let us know how we’re doing,” said Executive Director Roy Rickert. “We can’t thank the University of Mary, and the volunteers who are giving their time to us, enough. They are helping to make a substantial impact on their community.”
The survey will help identify characteristics of a sample of the CAT’s overall ridership, frequency and quantity of ridership, why ridership utilizes the service, public transit marketing reach, and will give people the opportunity to rate aspects of the transit service.
“Moving forward the fixed-route system is only going to be more important as a component of how the Bismarck-Mandan community grows,” said CAT Manager Nate Vatnsdal. “We’re looking forward to hearing about what we are doing well and how we can improve.”
Along with the opportunity to give feedback through the volunteers, the survey will also be available online at www.thecatbus.com. A link will be available on the homepage.
