Input Requested for Proposed Fixed Route, Paratransit Service Revisions

Bismarck, N.D. – The Bis-Man Transit Board is collecting input from public transportation users and the public.

The Bis-Man Transit Board scheduled two upcoming Special Board meetings with multiple user groups and public transportation stakeholders. The first meeting is Aug. 8 from 6-8 p.m. in Meeting Room A at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library. The second meeting is Aug. 10 from 2-4 p.m. in the Ed Froelich Meeting Room at Mandan City Hall. Feedback is also encouraged from the public, by emailing transit.bisman@midconetwork.com, or sending comments to 3750 East Rosser Avenue, Bismarck, ND, 58501.

“The Board wants to hear from the community, as we work to be as fiscally responsible as possible,” said Executive Director Roy Rickert. “The Board wants to give the community a chance to talk about, as well as prioritize, the service revisions proposed. They want to know what the users and the community can live with, and what they can’t live without, with regards to both the fixed route and the paratransit modes of service.”
