Bismarck, N.D. – Many of the entities at the Bismarck-Mandan Transit Center have released upcoming holiday service schedules.
On Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, Capital Area Transit (CAT) buses will provide service to the public, but the administration office will be closed. The administration office will also be closed over the Thanksgiving Holiday, on November 26-27. CAT buses will not provide service on the Thursday of Thanksgiving (Nov. 26). Bus service will begin at traditional hours on Nov. 27.
In December, the CAT buses will not provide service on Christmas Day, which falls on a Friday this year. The CAT’s administrative office will also be closed on December 25, and will close at noon on Christmas Eve Day. Service to the CAT’s 12 routes will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24, and begin at traditional times on Saturday, Dec. 26.
Finally, both the fixed-route bus service, as well as the administrative office, will be closed on Friday, Jan. 1, 2016.
Bis-Man Transit’s paratransit service is a 24/7/365 system and is not affected by holidays. The scheduling office is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Jefferson Lines Bus Depot will be open from 8-9 a.m. and from 3-4 p.m. on Veterans Day, Christmas Eve Day and New Year’s Day. The depot will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
