CAT Closed For Labor Day, BMT Paratransit Services Unaffected

August 28, 2014 - Bismarck, N.D. – The Capital Area Transit (CAT) will not be running routes on Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day. Busses will resume the regular schedule on Tuesday, September 2.

The CAT office will also be closed on Monday, September 1 due to the Labor Day holiday. If riders need help determining CAT Bus routes, they are encouraged to call (701) 323-9228 prior to the holiday. Labor Day is one of six holidays observed by CAT, including New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

The Bis-Man Transit Paratransit service will not incur any changes due to the Labor Day holiday. Ride reservations may be scheduled between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., but must be scheduled at least one day prior to the trip, as per normal.

The BisMan CAT is the fixed route public bus system serving Bismarck and Mandan six days a week with 12 routes.
