For Memorial Day, the CAT Buses will not be running their regular routes, but Bis-Man Transit buses will still be providing shuttle services to sandbagging sites. Starting Sunday May 29, the Bis-Man Transit Sandbag Shuttles will be running every 20-30 minutes from 6:00 am to midnight.
Volunteers should gather in the southeast corner of the Kirkwood Mall parking lot, near the JC Penney wing. A Bis-Man Transit bus will pick volunteers up there and transport them to Sandbag Central North, Sandbag Central South or Sandbag Charlie.
Rides are being provided at no cost to volunteers. Volunteers will be taken to the sandbag site where they are needed the most.
Sandbagging volunteers who need a ride from midnight to 6:00 am can get a ride free of charge to the sandbag sites by calling Taxi 9000 at 223-9000. If anyone who regularly uses The CAT needs a ride to Kirkwood Mall on Memorial Day to meet up with the Sandbag Shuttles, call Taxi 9000 at 223-9000 and a ride will be provided.
