CAT Not Providing Service On Independence Day Holiday; Paratransit Operating Traditional Hours

Bismarck, N.D. – There will be no fixed route bus service on Monday, July 4 due to the Fourth of July holiday. Capital Area Transit (CAT) service will resume traditional routes and schedules on Tuesday, July 5.

The CAT observes six holidays each year, including Independence Day. Other holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

However, the paratransit service will run its traditional hours.

Jefferson Lines Bus Depot will be open from 1:45 a.m. to 5:45 a.m. on July 4.
